Project Financing

Project financing is commonly used to finance capital intensive projects, such as wind farms, power plants, pipelines, transportation systems, mining facilities, and certain industrial facilities.  Typically the financing is without recourse to the project sponsor and the lender looks principally to the revenues expected to be generated by the project for the repayment of its loan and to the assets of the project as its collateral.
